Global Malaysia Achieves Its Goals

On September 16, the second 60,000m3 LPG low-temperature tank vault tK-102 of The LPG project in Malaysia under the general contract of Global Company reached the predetermined position in 129 minutes and successfully completed the gas jacking. By now, all the tanks of the project have completed the work of gas jacking and achieved the milestone goal.

This is the first LPG cryogenic tank project built overseas by Global. The total contractor company in southeast Asia and the project owner LiuJian company, make full use of its own national patent, method, brainstorming, actively explore new ideas, new methods, USES the advanced TOFD (time difference ultrasonic diffraction) assay, increase the effectiveness of the storage tank construction, effective save construction cost, and innovation in the past "bracket" into a balance weight evenly distributed, to balance the vaults, casing pressure brought by the falling nearly 20 tons of steel weight, greatly improving the repeated utilization ratio of resources.

After the completion of the gas jacking of the first tank on August 14, the project department made full use of the valuable experience of the successful gas jacking of the first tank and actively invested in the preparation work of the gas jacking of the second tank.

The project department has drawn up a detailed list of the air jacking items for storage tanks within a week before the air jacking, and will hold a meeting every afternoon to update the list of the air jacking items and make a specific work plan for the next day.

The air jacking paid more attention to the air tightness between the arch block and the tank body, reduced the air volume leakage of the fan during the jacking, accurately calculated the weight of casing and leg on the suspended ceiling, reasonably and evenly distributed the counterweight, and completed the air jacking work in a shorter and more accurate time.

At the same time, faced with the adverse situation of the recent rebound of the epidemic in Malaysia, the project Department insists on pushing forward the construction of the project under the premise of regular epidemic prevention and control. By coordinating the work of various project groups in Malaysia and arranging personnel, tools, equipment and other arrangements in advance, the site construction is fully guaranteed and the resource advantages are complementary.
