International oil prices rose 14th July to close at $40.29 a barrel in New York
New York, July 14 (Xinhua) -- International oil price rises 14 days.
Light crude for August delivery rose 19 cents, or 0.47%, to settle at $40.29 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange by the end of the day. Brent crude for September delivery rose 18 cents, or 0.42%, to settle at $42.90 a barrel in London.
Opec oil market report for July released on June 14 showed that Opec crude oil output fell by 1.89 million barrels per day (b/d) to 22.27 million b/d in June from The previous month, with the implementation rate of production cut exceeding 100%.
