International oil prices rose on 8th July
New York, 8th July (Xinhua) -- International oil price rises on 8th July.
Light crude for August delivery rose 28 cents, or 0.69%, to settle at $40.90 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange by the end of the day. Brent crude for September delivery rose 21 cents, or 0.49%, to settle at $43.29 a barrel in London.
U.S. commercial crude oil inventories stood at 539.2 million barrels last week, up 5.7 million barrels from the previous week, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
