Russian Energy Minister: Russia has fulfilled almost 100% of the cut

 
Sputnik Moscow, June 18, 2020 - Russia's Energy Minister, Alexander Novak, says Russia has treated its Opec + obligations responsibly and has fulfilled almost 100% of its obligations under the agreement.
 
"Russia is taking its obligations very responsibly, perhaps for the first time before, and almost immediately meeting 100 percent of the targets that are part of the agreement and the quotas," Novak told Bloomberg.
 
Opec and non-OPEC producers reached a two-year agreement on April 12 to cut production by 9.7 million barrels per day (23 percent) in May and June 2020, 7.7 million barrels per day (18 percent) in the second half of 2020, and 5.8 million barrels per day (14 percent) from January 2021 to April 2022.
