Provide additional well control with full-cycle circulation

The Sharp Razor full-function valve allows direct circulation to annulus to boost annular flow rate or to avoid pulling a wet string. The valve’s simple design (main body, upper piston, lower piston, and shear screws) results in easy and reliable operation. In the event of a well kick-in, the valve can be shifted to closed position to perform further well control operations.

When needed, a ball is dropped down the drillstring to the lower piston. Additional pump pressure shears the lower piston, allowing circulation through the bottom and through the side ports to the annulus. An additional ball can be dropped to shear the upper piston, which will seal the circulation ports and direct all flow through the drillstring below.
