International oil prices fell significantly on The 26th New York market to close at $38.56 per barrel
The rebound of COVID-19 in Europe and the United States further dampened expectations of crude oil demand, and international oil prices fell significantly on Wednesday.
Light crude for December delivery fell $1.29, or 3.24%, to settle at $38.56 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery in London fell $1.31, or 3.14%, to settle at $40.46 a barrel.
Conocophillips will buy Consuo for $9.7 billion
Conocophillips has agreed to buy shale-oil producer Conchos ResourcesInc for $9.7 billion. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of next year.
