International Oil Prices Fell Slightly On The 28th New York Market Closed at $42.97 a Barrel
By the end of the day, light crude for October delivery fell 7 cents, or 0.16%, to $42.97 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. London Brent crude for October delivery fell 4 cents, or 0.09%, to settle at $45.05 a barrel.
The number of active oil RIGS in the United States fell by three to 180 this week, down 562 from a year earlier, according to data released by U.S. oilfield technology services company Baker Hughes.
