International oil prices fell slightly on Monday

 
New York, July 7 (Xinhua) -- International oil prices fell slightly on Monday.
 
Light crude for August delivery fell 1 cent, or 0.02%, to $40.62 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange by the end of the day. London Brent crude for September delivery fell 2 cents, or 0.05%, to settle at $43.08 a barrel.
