International oil prices rose on June 19

 
New York, June 19 (Xinhua) -- International oil prices rose Monday.
 
Light crude for July delivery ended the day up 91 cents, or 2.34%, at $39.75 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. London Brent crude for August delivery rose 68 cents, or 1.64 per cent, to settle at $42.19 a barrel.
 
The number of active oil RIGS in the United States dropped 10 RIGS this week to 189, a 14-week decline, according to data released Wednesday by Baker Hughes.
