Russia's oil revenues fell by 25% in the year to April
China Petrochemical News Network June 12, 2020 according to Turkey news on June 11, Russia's oil export revenue from January to April 2020 was $30 billion, down 25% from the same period in 2019, according to data released by the Russian Federal Customs Service on Wednesday.
The country's oil exports in the first four months of the year fell 3.8 percent from a year earlier to 84.9 million tons, the data showed.
Oil export revenues fell 6 per cent last year to $121bn compared with 2018.
Oil and gas exports account for about 40 per cent of the Russian Federation's budget.
Gazprom, the country's gas giant, also saw gas export revenues fall 52.3 percent to $8.3 billion in the january-April period compared with the same period last year.
Gazprom exported 59.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas, including pipelines, in the January-April period, down 24 percent from the same period in 2019.
