Oil prices rose to close at $39.60 a barrel in New York Monday

 
New York, June 10 (Xinhua) -- International oil prices rose on The 10th.
 
Light crude for July delivery rose 66 cents, or 1.69%, to settle at $39.60 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange by the end of the day. London Brent crude for August delivery rose 55 cents, or 1.34%, to settle at $41.73 a barrel.
 
U.S. commercial crude oil inventories stood at 538.1 million barrels last week, up 5.7 million barrels from the previous week, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Monday.
