International oil prices rose and fell to close at $35.44 a barrel in New York

New York, June 1 (Xinhua) -- International oil prices were mixed on June 1.

By the end of the day, light crude for July delivery was down 5 cents, or 0.14%, at $35.44 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. London Brent crude for August delivery rose 48 cents, or 1.27%, to settle at $38.32 a barrel.
