WELL-CLEAN Element-Style Boot Basket
Recover debris during riser and BOP cleaning operations
The Sharp Razor WELL-CLEAN element-style boot basket, an integral part of the Sharp Razor wellbore cleanup (WBCU) system, collects debris during riser and blowout preventer (BOP) jetting operations. The boot basket’s rubber cup directs captured debris into the ported filter, which prevents debris from entering the wellbore.
Normally positioned below the fluid-actuated jetting tool, the boot basket can be rotated or reciprocated during jetting operations to ensure optimal BOP cleaning. The boot basket is typically used during the precompletion stage during jetting operations, but it can be run any time the wellbore is contaminated with debris. It can also be used as a key point indicator to verify cleanliness of the wellbore. This tool can be run in conjunction with other Sharp Razor WBCU tools to perform multiple wellbore cleanup operations.
