Grabitz Magnet
Remove ferrous metal debris from wellbore effectively
The Sharp Razor magnet is used to collect ferrous metal debris from the wellbore and well fluids and then retrieve it to surface. It has the versatility to be used in a variety of applications such as fishing, wellbore cleanup, displacement, and debris recovery during and after milling.
It also can be used in conjunction with other wellbore cleanup tools such as the Sharp Razor casing scraper and casing brush sub to perform displacement or wellbore cleanup operations.
The magnet is designed with a one-piece, full-strength mandrel, which reduces risks in the wellbore. Its high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) capability makes it ideal for extreme conditions, but the tool also is used in wells with low annular velocities, wells that contain fluids with poor carrying capacities, and in wells where circulation is a problem.
