Ball/Dart Catcher Sub
Catch darts or balls while allowing full flow
The Sharp Razor ball/dart catcher sub is used to catch balls or darts that have been released from tools such as dart-activated circulation subs and wellbore test packers to prevent the balls or darts from being left in the hole. The ball or dart catcher is available in several sizes and works with a variety of tools.
Sufficient bypass is built into the tool to allow full flow around the balls or darts after they are retained in the inner sleeve. This inner sleeve has a reverse-flow stop near the upper end to retain balls or darts in the event of reverse circulation.
